All areas must be free of fire hazards and sources which may breed insects, vermin or rodents; free of litter and debris, peeling or blistering pain, deteriorated gutters and downspouts, cracked and broken driveways and sidewalks, deteriorated windows and doors.
Today, the City of Warrensville Heights has over 1,000 codified ordinances in effect for the safety and welfare of the community and its residents. The Building Department is certified by the State of Ohio and is charged with enforcement of the Ohio Building Code, Residential Code of Ohio and ICC International Property Maintenance Code. This division also handles the licensing of general, electrical, plumbing and heating and air conditioning contractors.
