businesses. Our Economic Development Department is made up of two separate entities,
the economic development director and the community liaison director,
who combine their efforts to ensure that the economic climate of
Warrensville Heights stays at a desired level. Our Economic Development
Department staff works to attract new business, development new housing,
secure municipal assisting grants from the City and residents, and
help retain existing businesses here in Warrensville Heights . In 2001, government leaders, local business stakeholders, and residents
developed the City of Warrensville Heights Master Plan (view it at www.planning.co.cuyahoga.oh.us/ )to advance Warrensville Heights as a signature city by providing
a pro-business climate that attracts and retains quality jobs, businesses,
and home buyers. The City's objective is to achieve economic self-sufficiency
by becoming an employment center as well as a residential community. o From 2000 to present there has been incredible strides made in Warrensville
Heights . Over $100 million dollars in new private investment was
initiated including 1,000 new jobs created along with over 750,000
square feet of commercial office space. In addition, over 50 projects
were completed during this course of time. The following new companies

of the Cleveland Clinic Health System, Paychex, Marcus Thomas Advertising
and Public Relations firm, Gino's Trophy's and Awards Manufacturing,
Heinen's Supermarket Corporate Headquarters, Cuyahoga Community Corporate
College, Get Go/Giant Eagle, Highland Dental, Ohio Physical Therapy,
Dairy Mart, Chartwell Group, The DiSanto Companies General Landscape
Development Corporation, and ORG Holdings. Effective communication is the lifeblood of business, and assured
