CIVIC CENTER SERVES AS CRISIS CENTER FOR FIRE VICTIMS

Warrensville Heights, OH Male suspect who set fire to the second floor unit of 4907 Banbury Ct yesterday afternoon is currently in police custody and is set to be arraigned this afternoon at Bedford Municipal Court. A total of 16 families have been displaced due to the fire. Warrensville Heights police confirmed that no residents were injured.

The Warrensville Heights Civic Center (4567 Green Road, Warrensville Heights, OH) currently is functioning as a crisis relief center for displaced residents. The city arranged for residents to stay in a local hotel last night, and is working together with the American Red Cross to provide food, shelter, temporary transportation, and housing options for the displaced families. The city is working to manage donations from community partners and will post further guidelines that outline specific needs for victims on the city website to guide donation efforts.
