The Warrensville Civic and Senior Center, a focal point of activities and services to the Senior Community, is located at 4567 Green Road. The normal hours of operation are from 9:00 am - 5pm. Monday through Friday. For more information call 216.587.1250
 


The Center is a nonprofit social service organization that has as its primary mission providing a multipurpose center from which services and activities are provided on-site ore by referral to meet the needs of senior citizens in the City of Warrensville Heights.

The Center currently offers a variety of activities and classes that include:

  • Aerobics Classes
  • Needlepoint Classes
  • Tai Chi for Health
  • Piano Lessons
  • Arts and Crafts
  • Pinochle
  • Ballroom Dancing
  • Aerobics Classes
  • Line Dancing
  • Bid Whist
  • Ceramics
  • The Center will be offering Computer Classes for the Senior community in the early spring of 2004

The Center has a partnership with South Pointe Hospital, whereby health care providers visit the Seniors to discuss various health topics/issues and provide some health screening. The Center also coordinates other fellowship activities such as bus trips that are economically priced and planned to interest. Senior adults meet twice a month for the purpose of discussing topics of interest/concern to them.

The Center also coordinates transportation for the Senior and disabled population of Warrensville Heights. Residents can also rent the Center for meetings or special events after regular business hours.

 


 
Brenda L Wade is the Director of the Center and Latanya Davis is the Program Coordinator for activities.
