TAX INFORMATION

City Income Tax
Warrensville Heights has a 2.0 percent income tax, which is collected by and paid to the Central Collection  Agency (CCA). All residents are required to file a tax return with CCA by April 30th for the previous year. A 50 percent credit is granted for income tax paid to a community outside of Warrensville Heights to the extent that the taxes paid equal or exceed the taxes calculated as due to Warrensville Heights.

Property Taxes
Property taxes are collected by Cuyahoga County. Warrensville Heights residents will pay approximately $2,270 per $100,000 in market value for residential properties for the 2006 tax year (collected in 2007). For business and commercial properties, the rate is approximately $3,410 per $100,000 in market value.
