WARRENSVILLE BRANCH LIBRARY LEADERSHIP SPEAKER SERIES SEEKS TO INSPIRE YOUTH
Parma, OH – March 12, 2010 – Youth and their parents are invited to Cuyahoga County Public Library’s Warrensville Branch (22035 Clarkwood Parkway / 216.464.5280) for a special community leadership speakers series. Three community leaders will share their inspirational stories and give practical advice about creating a meaningful and successful life and career.
The first speaker in the series will be Warrensville Heights Mayor Clinton Hall on Monday, March 22nd at 7:00 p.m. Mayor Hall is a carpenter by trade, a leader through his long history of community service and involvement.
Dee Perry, host and producer of WCPN 90.3 FM’s hour-long daily magazine talk show Around Noon and the weekly television show Applause on WVIZ/PBS, will be our speaker on Monday, April 19th at 7:00 p.m.
Our third speaker, Basheer Jones, is committed to helping young people improve their lives. At one time he was homeless, but now the poet and Morehouse College graduate is a popular talk show host on Newstalk 1490 WERE-AM. He’ll be our guest on Monday, May 17th at 7:00 p.m.
The series supports Cuyahoga County Public Library priority to help youth reach their maximum potential. All of the speakers have agreed to donate their time to take part in the series which is free and open to the public. Registration is requested.
