I recognize the city's responsibility in continuing to shape two of the City's best assets; our neighborhoods and our children.

The City's neighborhoods epitomize the great, individual character that emanates from even the smallest corners of the City's quadrants. The ciity's neighborhoods comprise Westwood, Eastwood, Clarkwood, Granada , Walford, Green Road, South End and Richmond Road areas. They are what fill this city with those feelings that we all have come to know as the “Pride of Warrensville”.

That pride shines as a beacon does, through the eyes of our greatest natural resource, our children. I have determined that we must find ways to promote continued development in our children. This development shall manifest itself in the form of motor skill development, fitness development, and character development that will enhance the overall growth opportunities of our community.

I am happy to announce the Neighborhood Pride & Child Development Initiative. And with the help of the Warrensville Heights City Council and City staff this initiative will seek out the City's corporate community to be more than just a business here, but a partner, a neighbor, and a teammate in the community.

I will seek to improve neighborhood pride by building outdoor play systems, outdoor basketball courts, courtyard benches, and resurfacing neighborhood tennis centers to help serve as true neighborhood beacons. Your corporate donation into the Neighborhood Pride & Child Development Initiative program, will make our city, residents, and businesses the ultimate winners.
