POLICE SPOTLIGHT

Police Employment Spotlight On:
 
Lt Greg Curtin
Lieutenant Gregory Curtin is 46 years old, married to wife Debbie for 23 years and has two sons Sean age 14 and Ryan age 11. They live in Lyndhurst.

He started his career as a dispatcher /jailer in July 1980. He was hired as a full-time police officer in 1981. He was promoted to sergeant in 1989, lieutenant in 2001, executive lieutenant in 2002 and is currently the lieutenant in charge of the uniform division. During his career he has been assigned to the SWAT and motorcycle units (became sergeant of the motorcycle unit). He has served in the detective bureau and as the juvenile detective sergeant.

Greg enjoys working out, watching his sons play hockey and just being with his family.
“I have enjoyed my 27 years in the City of Warrensville Heights. It is truly a fine community. Plan on remaining at the department until a projected retirement at age 52 (God willing of course!)”
 
Francine Lawson
Francine is in her 18th year of service to the City. She enjoys meeting and working with the public. She was hired as the switchboard operator in 1989. She worked on the switchboard for about a month and a half. Since then she has worked as a clerk in the personnel and purchasing departments. She also became a deputy clerk of court for the Bedford Municipal Court.

She is currently working as the clerk of the traffic violations bureau and has worked in that position for several years.

Francine is single with no children but she does love children.
