Do I need a permit?

A permit is required for construction, addition, alteration (altering the structure with walls, beams, etc.), remodeling, replacement (hot water tank, furnace, AC unit), and demolition. A separate permit shall be obtained for signs, electrical work, plumbing work, heating appliances and any other equipment installation that is regulated by the Building Code.
