Family Fun & Fitness Fair at the Warrensville Heights Family YMCA

University Hospitals (UH) Ahuja Medical Center is partnering with the City Of Warrensville Heights to present a Family Fun and Fitness Fair. The free wellness event will take place on Saturday, April 5 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Warrensville Heights Family YMCA, located at 4433 Northfield Road in Warrensville Heights.

The Fair is under the direction of Bradley D. Sellers, Mayor, City of Warrensville Heights. It is a component of the ongoing Mayor’s Initiative for Health and Wellness developed by the city and UH Ahuja Medical Center. The event is designed for kids and adults and will feature:

*Free wellness screenings including blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar, body mass index, bone density, memory, balance, flexibility, vision and hearing
*Fitness demonstrations including, Bokwa®, Insanity®, line dancing and spinning
*Push-up and hula-hoop contests
*Healthy cooking demonstrations
*Free chair massages
*Games, clowns, balloon animals, story readings and prize raffles

Adults who attend the Family Fun and Fitness Fair will receive a free one-week pass to the Warrensville Heights YMCA. Attendees will also be able to sign up for Mayor Sellers’ Wellness Challenge, which rewards the city’s residents who reach the goal of 1,500 minutes of exercise during the ten-week period from April 12 – June 21.
