Issue 110: Permanent Improvement Renewal Levy

The City of Warrensville Heights has placed an important issue on the November 3 General Election Ballot, Issue 110 - the renewal of the .50 mill permanent improvement levy. Issue 110 is a renewal and will not increase your property taxes. The cost of the levy is less than $1 per month for a home valued at $100,000 and it will generate approximately $73,246 annually.

Warrensville Heights residents have supported this permanent improvement levy since 1980, and most of the money generated from the levy will go towards maintaining and improving City buildings such as the Civic & Senior Center and City Hall.

The advantage of Issue 110 is that the State of Ohio will continue to pay 12.5% of the total levy in the form of a residential tax credit to property owners. This credit has been eliminated for new or replacement levies passed by voters after December 1, 2013.
