Issue 110: Proposed Tax Levy Renewal

A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the City of Warrensville Heights for the purpose of constructing, enlarging, improving and equipping municipal facilities and buildings and acquiring real estate at a rate not exceeding 0.5 mill for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to 5 cents for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for five years, commencing in 2015, first due in calendar year 2016.

 

Issue 111: Proposed Charter Amendment

Shall Article III, Section 7 of the Charter of the City of Warrensville Heights be amended to require an election to fill the Office of Mayor should there be a vacancy in said office and the unexpired term is more than fifteen (15) months, and also require the election to take place the first Tuesday after one hundred twenty (120) days from the day on which the vacancy first occurred, unless a previously scheduled May or November election is to be held no less than one hundred twenty (120) days from the first day on which the vacancy occurred, in which case the election shall be held in conjunction with the May or November election?

 

Issue 112: Proposed Charter Amendment

Shall Article IV, Section 2 of the Charter of the City of Warrensville Heights be amended to include parents, brothers and sisters in the definition of family members as a restriction on concurrently serving on Warrensville Heights City Council and prohibiting the hiring and appointing by the Administration as employees of the city?

 

Issue 113: Proposed Charter Amendment

Shall Article IV, Section 8 of the Charter of the City of Warrensville Heights be amended to provide discussion of confidential business information of an applicant for economic development assistance pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Section 121.22(G)(8) as an additional circumstance for which Council may call or adjourn any regular or special Council meeting into executive session?

 

Issue 114: Proposed Charter Amendment

Shall Article V, Section 3 of the Charter of the City of Warrensville Heights, which currently provides that the Director of Finance attend all Council meetings, be amended to allow the Director of Finance or his designee to attend all Council meetings?
