2026 Memorial Day Parade Information Page

Get ready, Warrensville—The 2026 Memorial Day Parade is just around the corner! Mark your calendars because this year, the festivities kick off on Monday, May 25, 2026. Expect an unforgettable celebration with lively bands, energetic marchers, dazzling dancers, uplifting music, and impressive safety vehicles. It’s a beloved community tradition you won’t want to miss!

Parade Day

On parade day, we recommend that all groups arrive at their designated streets by 8:45 AM at the latest. A street captain from the city will be present to assist lining up—please follow their instructions carefully. Only vehicles participating in the parade are permitted on lineup streets.

For your convenience, we suggest parking at the high school parking lot, so your car is nearby when the parade concludes. You may also park on side streets, but not on streets used by the parade (in blue below) or with signs for no parking. Please refer to the maps below for approved parking areas.

Parking

With the construction of the High School and Middle School, there is ample parking near Old City Hall in the lots shown on the map below.   There is also parking available on various side streets. However, parking is not allowed on Halifax and Amherst. In addition, parking is not allowed on Lanbury or Wickfield east of Midway Ave. Old City Hall parking lot will not be open to the publicexcept with passes.

BusOn the day of the parade, a school bus will be available to transport people. The bus will start at the Warrensville Heights High School parking lot, travel up Warrensville Center Road, and drop passengers off at the front of the parade near Wickfield. Afterward, the bus will return to the Early Childhood Center, then head back to the High School.


Inclement Weather

In the event of inclement weather on the morning of the parade, please check the City of Warrensville Heights website at www.cityofwarrensville.com. Updates regarding any cancellations will be posted in the City News section on the main page. If no cancellation notice appears by 8:00 AM, the parade will proceed as scheduled.
